Ani příští rok nebude v Brně chybět významná florbalová akce. Mezinárodní turnaj Hummel Open Game měl letos na programu už svůj třináctý ročník a jeho tradice bude pokračovat i nadále.
Příští Open Game 2020 tak bude celkově už čtrnáctá, přičemž se v rámci ní odehraje podvanácté turnaj dětí. Právě mládežnické kategorie jsou velice sledované, protože se jich pravidelně účastní nejlepší týmy (nejen) z celého Česka.
„Určitě bych Open Game zařadila vedle Prague Games na ta prestižnější místa, co se týče letních turnajů,“ řekla například členka reprezentace juniorek Kateřina Seemannová. Ta se zapojila do uplynulého ročníku v dresu FBŠ Jihlava.
Podobně se o Open Game vyjádřila také bronzová medailistka z MS juniorek 2018 Eliška Planková: „V porovnání s ostatními turnaji bych Open Game nejspíše dala hned na druhou příčku.“
Dospělá část turnaje nabízí různé kategorie, do nichž se mohou přihlášené týmy zapojit. Kromě samostatné kategorie žen fungovaly na posledním ročníku sekce mužů Elita, PRO a Amatéři. Jejich cílem je rozdělení družstev podle výkonnostního hlediska.

Přestože Hummel Open Game letos už proběhl, pečlivě se připravuje nový ročník. Ten v roce 2020 absolvuje nejdříve mládež v termínu od 18. do 21. června a následovat budou i dospělí hráči a hráčky od 25. do 28. června.
