Byl to tuhý boj, ze kterého mohlo vyjít vítězně pouze jedno družstvo. A tím úspěšnějším nakonec byl celek Lassie’s snout, jehož finálová výhra nad DT SaMo ukončila dvouletou hegemonii Židenic na Open Game.
Na první góly se nemuselo čekat nijak dlouho. Už ve druhé minutě si udělala prostor ke skórování Pavla Manová, která pomohla Lassie’s snout získat náskok. Ten navíc o necelou minutu později potvrdila druhou trefou Jitka Drápalová. Mezi střelkyněmi na straně Lassie’s snout nechyběla v konečném součtu ani Andrea Dernerová.
Za DT SaMo se střelecky prosadily Jana Lišková a Michaela Žáková, jenže ani to nestačilo k celkovému prvenství. DT SaMo nevyužilo v posledních chvílích zápasu vyloučení Kláry Javorčekové a tým Lassie’s snout si připsal zlatou výhru 3:2.
Právě dvojice úspěšných útočník z finále – Manová (5+2) a Dernerová (4+3) – společně opanovala kanadské bodování svého výběru. Za nimi potom figurovala obránkyně Simona Kabeláková (1+5).
Lassie’s snout je týmem, který přerušil vítěznou sérii Židenic na ženském Open Game. Brněnský klub ovládl turnaj v předchozích dvou letech, ale letos zlatý hattrick nedokonal.

How to get to Brno? BY PLANE The Brno International Airport is located 7.5 km southeast of the city center. The airport terminal is approximately 2 km from the D1 highway, near Exit 201 Brno-Slatina.
